Federal Bank shines 2.4% after block deal

Around 33.5 lakh shares were traded in a multiple block at Rs.77.70-77.75 on the BSE.

Federal Bank Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 72.7, up by Rs. 1.7 or 2.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 71 on the BSE. Around 33.5 lakh shares were traded in a multiple block at Rs.77.70-77.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 71.2 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 73.85 and Rs. 71.2 respectively. So far 24133317 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12211 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 76.15 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 41.35 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 74.2 and Rs. 70.3 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 0 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.27 % and 55.12 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
