Gammon India clocks 2.9% gain on the bourses

The company said in a notice to BSE that it seeking shareholders nod to sell up to 75% of Gammon Engineers.

Gammon India Ltd ended at Rs. 17.55, up by Rs. 0.5 or 2.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 17.05 on the BSE. The company said in a notice to BSE that it seeking shareholders nod to sell up to 75% of Gammon Engineers.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.1 and touched a high and low of Rs. 18.85 and Rs. 16.55 respectively. A total of 2978220 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 630.12 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 touched a 52 week high of Rs. 21.5 on 06-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 10.35 on 30-Mar-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 18.4 and Rs. 16.85 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 12.83 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 67.86 % and 19.31 % respectively.

The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
