Idea Cellular clocks 5% gain on the bourses

The scrip opened at Rs 78.75 and touched a high and low of Rs 79.55 and Rs 77.6 respectively.

Idea Cellular Ltd ended at Rs 79.15, up by Rs 3.35 or 4.42% from its previous closing of Rs 75.8 on the BSE. As per media reports, the telecom major has put on block 100% stake in its tower arm, dropping its earlier plans to sell a minority stake in the business.

The scrip opened at Rs 78.75 and touched a high and low of Rs 79.55 and Rs 77.6 respectively. A total of 19509562(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 27296.58 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs 147.7 on 27-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs 66 on 09-Nov-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 76.3 and Rs 70.55 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.23 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.72 % and 26.05 % respectively.

The stock traded above its 200 DMA.
