MOIL hikes prices of various grades of manganese ore

MOIL has increased prices of various grades of manganese ore for October-December quarter effective from December 1, 2016.

MOIL has increased prices of various grades of manganese ore for October-December quarter effective from December 1, 2016. The prices have been increased by 30% on the existing prices prevailing since November 1, 2016 of all Ferro Grades of ore. The prices have been increased by 25% on all grades of SMGR (Mn 30%) and SMGR Low (Mn 25%) on the prevailing prices since November 1, 2016.

The prices have been increased by 25% on all grades of Fines on the prevailing prices since November 1, 2016, while the prices have been increased by 10% of all chemical grades ore on the prevailing prices since November 01, 2016. The existing price of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) has remained unchanged.

Stock Commentary:

MOIL Ltd ended at Rs 380.2, up by Rs 3.85 or 1.02% from its previous closing of Rs 376.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 379 and touched a high and low of Rs 394 and Rs 374 respectively. A total of 1105751(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 5012.52 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 touched a 52 week high of Rs 387.9 on 02-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 180.1 on 12-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 379.55 and Rs 338.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.58 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.67 % and 11.75 % respectively.

The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
