Petrol price hiked by 13 paise/L, diesel cut by 12 paise/L

The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant decrease in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.

The petrol price has increased by Rs 0.13/litre and diesel price decreased by Rs 0.12/litre with effect from midnight of November 30/ December 1.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has decided to effect the following price changes w.e.f midnight of November 30, 2016 / December 01, 2016.

• Increase in Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 0.13/litre (excluding State levies)
• Decrease in Selling Price of Diesel by Rs. 0.12/litre (excluding State levies)

The current level of international product prices of Petrol and Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant decrease in selling price of Petrol and Diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision.

The movement of prices in the international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes.
