Sarda Energy shines 6% after restarting mining operations

Sarda Energy said that the operations at its iron ore mine in Chhattisgarh have been restored.

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd is currently trading at Rs 244.8, up by Rs 14.9 or 6.48% from its previous closing of Rs 229.9 on the BSE. The company said that the operations at its iron ore mine in Chhattisgarh have been restored.

The scrip opened at Rs 235.5 and has touched a high and low of Rs 256.65 and Rs 235.5 respectively. So far 306286 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 828.19 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 296.6 on 01-Nov-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 75.5 on 26-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 241.8 and Rs 189 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.29 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.55 % and 26.16 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
