SpiceJet shines 2.6%; to increase its daily flights and add new aircrafts

The airline company wants to increase its daily flights by 10% and so in the next few weeks will be adding 2 to 3 international destinations and is also planning to add about three Bombardiers and 4 to 5 aircraft they will mostly be Boeings by the end of the current fiscal.

SpiceJet Ltd is currently trading at Rs 62.3, up by Rs 1.6 or 2.64% from its previous closing of Rs 60.7 on the BSE. The airline company wants to increase its daily flights by 10% and so in the next few weeks will be adding 2 to 3 international destinations and is also planning to add about three Bombardiers and 4 to 5 aircraft. These will mostly be Boeings and will be added by the end of the current fiscal. Currently, it is having a fleet of 43 aircraft operating 320 flights a day across six countries.

The scrip opened at Rs 61 and has touched a high and low of Rs 63.1 and Rs 60.95 respectively. So far 2284280 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3638.66 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 95.3 on 28-Jan-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 37.65 on 15-Oct-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 61.8 and Rs 57.1 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.32 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.12 % and 37.56 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
