Syngene International trades at 52-week high

The company has completed a deal through which Syngene has purchased assets of Strand Life Sciences related to systems biology, Heptox and pharma bioinformatics services.

Syngene International Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 500, up by Rs. 18.7 or 3.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 481.3 on the BSE. Syngene International Ltd., Asia’s leading Contract Research Organization, and Strand Life Sciences, announced that they has completed a deal through which Syngene has purchased assets of Strand LifeSciences related to systems biology, Heptox and pharma bioinformatics services.

The scrip opened at Rs. 514 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 524.45 and Rs. 496.1 respectively. So far 761144(NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 9626 crore.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 510 on 07-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 315 on 23-Sep-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 489.5 and Rs. 470.2 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.55 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.71 % and 6.85 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
