Trent redeems NCDs worth Rs.300 crore

The company said NCDs were listed on the Wholesale debt market segment of National Stock Exchange of India.

Trent Ltd is currently trading at Rs. 217.1, down by Rs. 2.1 or 0.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 219.2 on the BSE. Trent Ltd has informed BSE that the company has redeemed 3,000 Rated Listed Unsecured Redeemable Non - Convertible Debentures ("NCDs") of face value Rs. 10 lakhs each (allotted on April 06, 2015) at par on due date i.e. September 20, 2016. Total redemption amount was Rs.300 crore. The company said NCDs were listed on the Wholesale debt market segment of National Stock Exchange of India.

The scrip opened at Rs. 222 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 222 and Rs. 216.3 respectively. So far 78303 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7284.38 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 256.8 on 12-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 123.5 on 22-Sep-2015. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 245.05 and Rs. 219 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 32.61 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 42.99 % and 24.4 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading above its 50 DMA.
