Zee Entertainment drops 3.4%; top Nifty loser

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd ended at Rs 528.15, down by Rs 18.75 or 3.43% from its previous closing of Rs 546.9 on the BSE. Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd reached an agreement to buy Reliance Broadcast Networks Ltd, as per media reports. The companies are working on a deal structure, the report added.

The scrip opened at Rs 549.6 and touched a high and low of Rs 549.6 and Rs 525.4 respectively. A total of 4524445 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 52524.28 crore.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 touched a 52 week high of Rs 588.8 on 03-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 350.15 on 17-Feb-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 575.3 and Rs 540 respectively.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.07 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.95 % and 4.98 % respectively.

The stock traded above its 50 DMA.
