OYE! 104.8 FM the Sabse Filmi Station, thanked lord Ganeshji in a filmi style this Ganesh Chaturti. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Esha Gupta, Salim and Suleiman, Kailash Kher , Neetu Chandra, Ajay Devgan and Vidya Balan were gifted with the ‘Filmi Ganeshas’ that were specially made for the stars in this initiative by Oye! FM.
The innovative idea behind this was to thank Ganeshji for giving us 100 glorious years of Indian Cinema. Oye! FM had tied up with NGO Project Crayons that provides shelter to unprivileged girls. The girls from the NGO made the wonderfully crafted “Filmi Ganesha” from recycled music CDs.
These perrsonalised “Filmi Ganesha” were then gifted to the biggest names in Bollywood. Star of the Millennium, Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged this initiative and accepted the “Filmi Ganesha” when presented by OYE! RJ Alok at his house.
Bollywood embraced this initiative with open hearts. Arjun Rampal the model turned actor too appreciated the work of NGO Project Crayons’ girls and OYE! 104. 8 FM for this initiative and creative work. The ravishing Esha Gupta was mesmerized with the “Filmi Ganesha” and she said that “she will be happy to keep the “Ganesha” at her house”. The renowned music director duo Salim and Suleiman congratulated OYE! 104.8 FM for this noble endeavour.
Salim Merchant said that “Ganeshji is the guru of rhythm and crafting a Ganeshji” from recycled Music CDs is a great thought”. Ganeshji seems to be the most favourite god among the stars. The versatile singer Kailash Kher found the idea quite unique, smart and inspirational. Neetu Chandra visited project crayons NGO with OYE! 104.8 Fm to celebrate the festive season.
The last 100 years of Bollywood has captured the imagination of the nation with Bollywood becoming the most favoured entertainment medium. This wouldn’t have been possible without the blessings of the Lord Ganesha, whose blessings have made Mumbai the film capital of India and Bollywood, larger than life. It was only apt for OYE! 104.8 FM Sabse Filmi to take this initiative to show our gratitude to Lord Ganesha.
