ICICI Securities has launched a Windows 8 app that allows its customers to conveniently trade on ICICIdirect.com using this new platform. ICICIdirect is the first Indian trading website to launch this free app on Windows Store.
The app is developed to facilitate live trading on the move. Once the app is downloaded on Windows 8, customers can trade on ICICIdirect, view their portfolio, view graphs for their companies, get latest stock related news, modify allocation, and more.
"We are happy to bring our 2.5 million customers the option to trade online through an all new ICICI Direct App on Windows 8. The new platform enables users to consume and engage with the stock market in an intuitive and innovative way.
This launch is our commitment to bring access to the markets to our customers on the platform of their choice irrespective of the whether they are on desktop, laptop or tablet,” explained Yagnesh Parikh, Head – Technology, ICICI Securities Ltd.
The ICICIdirect app for Windows 8 is available for free in the Windows Store. A similar type of app is available for free on the Android Play Store.
