IFIM Business School, in association with Oniyavara Seva Coota (BOSCO), a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working with the young at risk in the city of Bangalore, are conducting a walkathon for the cause of 'Save the girl child’ on Sunday at Kanteerava Stadium. The walkathon will flag off at 7 o’ clock on Sunday morning at Kanteerava Stadium and will be a 2.5 km walk via Cubbon Park and back to the stadium.
A large number of Bangaloreans from all walks of life are expected to participate in Kanyathon. Apart from the walkathon there will be a poster making competition (for students of class 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th) and a costume walk (for students of class 10th, 11th and 12th) at the venue.

The outlook is a flat start. The market will look to scale to new peaks though not much effort is needed for the same. HUL saw a rally and short-covering may have pulled it up further. Speculation is on that its parent will raise stake through an open offer. After the cooling in oil prices, Cairn results will be in focus.
