The Parx Super Car Show 2013 is ready to hit city roads next weekend with a fleet of dazzling vehicles. Into its fifth edition, the show is touted to get better and bigger as it displays some of the most powerful cars in the country on January 26 and 27 at the Polo Grounds, RWITC (Mahalaxmi Race Course). Hannu Mikkola will be present as the guest of honour at the Parx Super Car Show 2013.
The Super Car Club, the brainchild of Gautam Singhania, CMD of Raymond Limited as the Patron and Founder and Hormazd Sorabjee, Editor, Autocar India as the Co-Founder of the Club, has grown leaps and bounds since inception in 2009. The club has been initiating various activities to promote the popularity of these super machines in India. The club, last year undertook a thrilling expedition to Leh-Ladakh. SCC, under the leadership of Mr Singhania, is promoting drifting as an auto sports in the country. The Club will soon be launching a Drifting Championship in India.
The Parx Super Car Show, which began as an event to showcase the speed monsters, has grown to become one of the remarkable auto events in the country. Every year since its launch in April 2009, the number of supercars on display has increased and so has the number of people visiting the show.
This year, the event will transform from being a day out for the sleekest cars in the city to a two-day adrenaline pumped fiesta. The show has also grown in its stature as a world class show. For the first time, world leaders in automobile, Lamborghini and Audi will launch their latest speedsters Lamborghini Roadster and Audi R8 P1 at the Parx Super Car Show.
Like its previous editions, the Parx Super Car Show 2013 will display iconic cars such as Audi, Mercedes, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley and Rolls-Royce for car enthusiasts in the city on January 26 at the Polo Grounds, RWITC (Mahalaxmi Race Course) between 11 am to 6 pm.
The second day of the event will see the Super Cars in action as they will zoom past the streets of Mumbai on January 27 from 10 am to 1 pm. Following the phenomenal success of last year’s show, the cars will traverse major parts of the city so that several folks get to watch the parade live. Auto enthusiasts can catch a glimpse of these vehicles as they move past the parade route (mentioned below).

The Parx Super Car Show was conceptualized and established by Gautam Singhania, CMD, Raymond limited and Mr. Hormazd Sorabjee – Editor, Autocar India. Mr. Singhania is also a patron and founder of the Super Car Club with Mr. Hormazd Sorabjee – Editor, Autocar India as the co-founder. Since its inception in 2009, the club has grown by leaps and bounds, initiating numerous activities to promote the popularity of super cars in the country.
