Sensex, Nifty traded higher

At 2:05pm (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18543, up 71 points over the previous close

At 2:05pm (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18543, up 71 points over the previous close. It had earlier touched a day's high of 18563 and a day's low of 18468. It opened at 18491.

The NSE Nifty was quoting at 5,645 up 14 points over the previous close. It earlier touched a day’s high of 5,650 and a day’s low of 5621. It opened at 5,624.

The BSE Small-Cap index and BSE Mid- Cap index was trading flat.

HDFC Bank, Tata Power, Wipro, Coal India, Dr Reddys Lab, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, NTPC, M&M, L&T, ONGC are among gainers in Sensex and Nifty.

Bajaj Auto, BHEL, TCS, Hero MotoCorp, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, SBI, RIL are among losers in Sensex and Nifty.

Oil and Gas , Power, HC, PSU, Realty, Metal, IT, Teck, Oil and Gas, Capital Goods, Metal, are the gainers.

Bankex, Auto, Consumer Durables indices are the losers.
