Sensex remains on negative terrain

At 12:41pm (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18785, down 60 points over the previous close.

At 12:41pm (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 18785, down 60 points over the previous close. It had earlier touched a day's high of 18894 and a day's low of 18,776. It opened at 18832.

The NSE Nifty was quoting at 5,718, down 20 points over the previous close. It earlier touched a day’s high of 5,751 and a day’s low of 5718. It opened at 5,731.

The BSE Small-Cap index was trading flat, while BSE Mid- Cap index was trading down 0.21%.

RIL, Wipro, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, NTPC, BHEL, Sun Pharma, Maruti, Bajaj Auto, Tata Power, Jindal Steel, SBI, Coal India, ITC,Ciplaare among gainers in Sensex and Nifty.

Infosys, TCS, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp, Sterlite Inds, Dr Reddys Lab, HDFC, are among losers in Sensex and Nifty.

Realty, FMCG and HC indices are the gainers.

Oil and Gas,  PSU, Power, Metal, Oil and Gas, IT, Teck ,Consumer Durables, Bankex, Capital Goods, Metal, are the losers.
