Sensex slips 32 points...Capital Goods and Auto stock slides

At 10:30am (IST), the BSE Sensex was trading at 19307, down 32 points over the previous close. It had earlier touched a day's high of 19416 and a day's low of 19292. It opened at 19342.

The NSE Nifty was quoting at 5,866, down 12 points over the previous close. It earlier touched a days high of 5,899 and a days low of 5862. It opened at 5,878.
Jet Airways, Thermax, MphasIS, Aditya Bir. Nuv., Pantaloon Retail, United Breweries, Adani Enterp., Maruti Suzuki, Marico, Torrent Power, M&M, Sh.Renuka Sugar are among the gainers in Sensex and Nifty.
Tata Comm, IDFC, BPCL, Guj Fluorochem, Rajesh Exports, Idea Cellular, Syndicate Bank, Glaxosmit Pharma, Titan Ind., ITC,Tata Power Co., Hero Motocorp and Godrej Consumer are among losers in Sensex and Nifty.
The BSE Small-Cap index and BSE Mid- Cap index were up by 0.5 and 0.7% respectively.
Capital Goods,Auto,Realty,Metal,Healthcare, Oil and Gas , PSU adn Power are the gainers.
TECk,Consumer Durables,Bankex and FMCG indices are the losers.

Trends in FII flows: The FIIs were net buyers of Rs16.11bn in the cash segment on Friday, while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs7.98bn, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.
The foreign funds were net buyers of Rs28.58bn in the cash segment on Friday, according to the SEBI figures.

New highs pass by; flat start

The outlook is a flat open. Global indices are up. The minutes from the Federal Reserve's July meeting indicate that the Fed is in no hurry to raise interest rates. The Dow added 0.35% while S&P was up 0.25%. Nasdaq ended marginally lower. Asian indices are mixed with Nikkei up almost a percent while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index is lower. South Korea's Kospi index and China's Shanghai index are also in the red.
