Kelkar is CTO for the APAC region and leads BMC’s global incubator team. The Zinnov Award recognizes his leadership in creating a range of novel incubation processes and the framework he put in place at BMC.
“Suhas continues to make us proud and is helping us create a strong brand as one of the best software companies in India,” said Tarun Sharma, president of BMC Software India. “Extraordinary leaders like Suhas, working with teams of other BMC employees around the world, have created a broad array of innovative new IT solutions. Today, the result is clear: tens of thousands of organizations -- from small and mid-market businesses to the Global 100 -- rely on BMC Software to manage their business services and applications across distributed, mainframe, virtual and cloud environments.”
Beginning as a “startup within a large organization,” Kelkar’s team has evolved into a true startup creator. Among the team’s more recent achievements is the incubation of a cloud management solution that went on to become a commercial success for BMC. Kelkar and his team helped create a completely new solution via his industry leading “business incubation” process.
