Well known director turned producer, Karan Johar who has come a long way from his directorial debut "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" in 1998 was in the studio to speak to the listeners about Dharma Productions upcoming release, Wake up Sid, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Konkana Sen Sharma.

The talented director spoke about the making of his latest movie, his experience of working with star son Ranbir, and the experience of passing on the ropes to first time director Ayan Mukherji.

Wake up Sid is a youthful, young energetic film, the story of every youngster, there is a Sid in every house, be it a boy or girl! said Karan who also interacted with listeners and answered their questions on his movie making style, shoot locations and his take on social issues.

Wake up Sid is the story of Sidharth Mehra a lazy, unmotivated slacker from Mumbai whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams. Sid's world is breezy, carefree, and without any true responsibilities. The most important elements in his life are his friends, his camera, his car, and his X-box 360.

Sounds familiar??? Watch the movie, which releases on 2nd Oct, to know if he really IS, like every 21 - 22 year old boy you know!

While you await the release of this anticipated film, wake up every morning to Mumbais hottest radio station, Radio Mirchi, 98.3 FM and hear the films chart topping music given by Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy.
