Voltamp Transformers trips as RBS pares stake

Voltamp Transformers fell 1.55% to Rs 487.70 after Royal Bank of Scotland NV sold 0.76% stake in a bulk deal on the BSE on Wednesday, 25 May 2011.

As per provisional closing, the BSE Sensex was up 188.47 points, or 1.06%, to 18,035.71

On BSE, 16,722 shares were traded in the counter. The stock gyrated between Rs 511 and Rs 480 during the day.

The small-cap transformer maker has an equity capital of Rs 10.12 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) NV London Branch sold 77,500 shares at Rs 495.17 per share in a bulk deal on the BSE on 25 May 2011. RBS NV held 1.53% stake in Voltamp Transformers as at end March 2011.
