| With a view to expand its portfolio of services offered to Indian Corporates, India Infoline acquired Marchmont Capital Advisors Private Limited, the Indian Arm of Marchmont International Finance Limited UK in 2005. Mr. Ajit Menon, Senior Director with American Express Bank and Dr. Graham Sharp, Director on the Board of Samuel Montagu (now part of HSBC) came together and co-founded The Marchmont Group in 2001 with a proposition to offer customized corporate finance and strategy services to corporate and individuals, with presence in London and India. Mr. Ajit now heads the Indian Operations and Dr. Graham looks after the International business of the Investment Banking team at India Infoline.
We received the Category I Merchant Banking License in February 2006. |
