The entire process
is very simple
- First of
all, online applications for units requires you to have Internet
banking facility. Currently, only customers of ICICI Bank and HDFC
Bank, having net-enabled bank accounts, can apply online.
Hopefully, in the near future, more banks will become Internet
enabled but till then, you must have Internet banking facility with
either of these two banks for the purpose of buying mutual funds
online.

- Go
to the application form.
|
- Then, select
the fund and particular scheme you want to invest in. Currently,
the choices available are limited but we hope to tie up with every
fund and make online applications available for all of them.
Needless to say, this process will take time.

- Fill in the
form. Make sure all your particulars are correct. Choose your bank
in the form. After you click on proceed, the details entered by you
are shown for correction.

- We advice
you to take a print out of the completed form for your records as
per the option highlighted. If you are satisfied with the details
entered, click on submit.
|
- Next comes
the payment. How do you make the payment? In a physical world, you
will simply write out a cheque favoring the fund. On the Internet,
you simply use your online payment gateway and instruct your
bank to debit your account and credit the fund account.
- Please note that the funds to be
invested shall pass through India Infoline.com Distribution Company
Limited's bank account before being transferred to the respective
Mutual Funds, on a same day basis. Currently, this is required due
to certain payment gateway limitations on the part of the
respective banks due to which third party transfers cannot be
facilitated online'
- So once you
complete filling the form, check whether the particulars are
correct (our apologies for being repetitive, but this is for your
safety).
- After that,
simply click on the Submit button. This will take you to the
payment gateway of your bank, where you have to provide your user
id and password. Only then will the payment will be authorized. Do
not worry, we maintain highest levels of privacy and
security.
- The process
does not end here, because your signature is missing. Till digital
signatures are permitted, you have to send your signature in
physical form. The registrars will have your signature on their
records. For all investors, signature completion is a critical
element of this process. This page shall instruct you to take a
printout of the same, and send it to us as per instructions
specified therein. Without sending your signature, it is not
possible for you to redeem your investments. So ensure that you do
not skip this part of the program.
