Amar Ambani, Head of Research at IIFL said, "The April series started off with huge volatility as indices witnessed a sharp whipsaw swinging between positive and negative zone. The Nifty held on to the long term channel base line of 8320 on a closing basis. This gives some hopes for a short pull back up to 8450. A weekly close above 8450 will be more comfortable for the short term trend reversal."
