At nineteen, the newlywed Sowmya thinks she has life well in hand. And so she does, until her brother-in-law Raghu announces that he is (to the disapprobation of his family) in love with her sister Alamelu beautiful, brilliant, and utterly indifferent. Meanwhile, Sowmya's husband, Srinivasan, has made a rash claim and is in a sticky situation with his new boss. Sowmya is content to laugh at both of them until circumstances, compounded by her brothers enterprising schemes and her fathers attempts to spread cheer, threaten permanent damage to her peace of mind. What do you expect ? What way will the story go ?

Ashwin Balasubhramanium says, "rich in humor and prose Aditi's first book is a pleasure to read so far . Though I am merely a few chapters into it right now I really love how the characters are being developed and the universality of the humour. . sort of feels like Wodehouse meets r.k.laxman meets crazy mohan."

Surely, its a book one must pick up and give it a read.

Another fine review for the book by Mr. Narendranath who says, "in her debut novel the author goes through so many issues which would make any one closely or remotely associated with a TAM BRAM, thrilled... The fact that the author elucidates with such intricate detail the maxims.. of an upbringing which only tam brams would relate to would make this an excellent read. The way she encompasses the past is an absolute delight . It deals with real time real life issues which we all face....I HOPE we see more from this budding writer...FOR a debut it give it a 5/5.She says its fiction...it may be fiction to her but it touches upon all our pasts..."
