Budget reaction: Education sector

4 Feb 2022 , 03:10 PM

The Union Budget 2022 has received positive response, so here are some industry reactions on the budget presented by Honrable  Finance Minister's announcements.

Expressing his views on the budget Dr. Varun Gupta, Executive, Renowned educationist, author, social worker and Executive Vice President On Sky Global said, “The education industry was given a cursory look in the Union Budget announcement for basic and secondary levels. However, the announcement of the start of a Digital ecosystem for skilling and livelihood is a significant step for higher education institutions. The expansion of PM eVIDYA's "One class, one TV channel" initiative from 12 to 200 TV channels fosters inclusion of students from all backgrounds and assures that a lack of digital equipment is not a barrier to students' cognitive development.”
