Germanys wholesale price inflation declined 2.5 percent year-on-year, which was the strongest fall since May 2016, when it decreased 2.8 percent, figures from the Federal Statistical Office showed on Friday. Wholesale prices dropped 1.9 percent in September and 2.3 percent in October. In November, substantial price declines in the wholesale of scrap and residual materials, cereals, raw tobacco, seeds and animal feed, as well as in computing, peripherals and software influenced the total outcome. On a month-on-month basis, producer prices decreased 0.1 percent in November.
