How Branch App is different from other players?
Unlike traditional institutions, Branch gives people an opportunity to build credit despite limited credit history by assessing creditworthiness based on the data captured from customers’ smartphones. Branch’s algorithms process thousands of data points to create personalized loan
options in a matter of seconds.
How is the brand bringing evolution in the Indian market?
Branch comes with the unique proposition of giving loans to users who are otherwise not accepted by the traditional banks. In emerging markets, especially among the growing youth population this becomes a perpetual problem. Take for instance, a credit card industry which has only about 3% penetration in a large country like India. The acceptance rates of credit cards are based on a person’s credit history and one cannot build adequate healthy credit history early in their lives. Branch helps give financial assistance to this growing Indian user base who are otherwise unable to get access through traditional financial services. In addition to this the fast pace of getting a quick loan seamlessly and having the benefits and flexibility of repayments empowers users to make smoother and better decisions.
