Central Bank of India's Q4FY18 standalone net loss widens to Rs2,113.50cr yoy : Misses Estimates

The bank’s standalone NII stood at Rs1,499.90cr, down 12.57% yoy and 24.15% qoq.

Central Bank of India’s Q4FY18 revenue has declined by 11.5% yoy to Rs6,302cr. Its NII for the quarter came at Rs1,499.9cr as against Rs1,715.5cr yoy, which has declined by 12.6%. The bank has reported net loss of Rs2,113.5cr, against loss of Rs591.8cr reported in corresponding quarter last year. Its GNPA for Q4FY18 stood at 21.48% against 18.08% qoq, which has increased by 340bps. NNPA for the quarter came at 11.1% against 9.45% qoq, which has increased by 165 bps.

Technical View:

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 66.50, up by 0.6 points or 0.91% from its previous closing of Rs. 65.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 66.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 67.25 and Rs. 62 respectively. So far 8,73,816 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The stock is currently trading above its 200 DMA.
