Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd's revenue for Q3FY19 came in at Rs2,807.2cr, up 20.5% yoy. The company's operating profit in the quarter increased 20.8% yoy to Rs358.12cr. EBITDA margin remained flat at 12.8% in Q3FY19 as compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The adjusted net profit after tax (excluding discontinued operations) stood at Rs153.02cr during Q3FY19 vs Rs148.9cr during Q3FY18. The revenue, EBITDA, and net profit beat the consensus estimates of Rs2,603cr, Rs145cr and Rs42cr by 8%, 68%, and 38%, respectively.
Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd ended at Rs176.75, up 7.2 points, or 4.25%, from its previous close of Rs169.55 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs171.30 and touched a high and low of Rs179.35 and Rs171, respectively. A total of 5,38,815 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The stock is currently trading below its 200-DMA.
