AIMA launches Corporate Endorsed Courses

AIMA is launching two skill-based, post graduate courses management courses from July 2013 in retail management and another in sales and marketing.

Both the courses have been designed after in-depth research on skill requirements in the industry and emerging employability demands. These courses will equip the students’ knowledge and skills to function effectively. These courses have been endorsed and taken up by many leading companies including GE Money, HDFC, Nicholas Parimal, Aditya Birla Group, Citi, e-NXT, Bose Corporation, Cliff Dew and Welspun.

These industry endorsed courses offer clear advantage over the routine courses. Usually, the industry hires fresh graduates from institutes and provides them extensive in house training to make them productive, which takes a period of six months to a year. While graduating students from these courses will be job ready from day one.

These programs will provide real-world experience through on job projects, assignments and stimulation games. The programs are offered in flexi mode with classes being offered in morning allowing working executives to continue with the job while fresher’s can work on live projects.

The retail management program develops in depth understanding of all verticals of retail sales enhancing, store operations and management skills, analytical interpretation, decision making and people management skill apart from inculcating self-reliance and confidence to head a profit center.

The sales& marketing management program aims at developing a band of learned professionals with strong conceptual foundations, insight of dynamic market and exposure to latest technologies used in sales forecasting, market and business analytics, online marketing and distribution strategies apart from sales enhancement and sales force motivation.

Since the course curriculum of both the programs has been designed and vetted by industry experts the Board of Studies of AIMA has recommended that the course should be taught with a judicious mix of academic and industry experts. A large number of industry experts have accepted to teach in this course.
