Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SVIMS) is organizing ‘Evolve,’ a national conclave on Retail and Ecommerce at the Nehru Centre, Mumbai on May 16 & 17, 2013.
The objectives of this conclave are to discuss the emerging trends in retail and e-commerce, the policies affecting retail and e-commerce, the role of Customer Relationship Management and supply chain in retail and need for training in these areas and the future of retail and e-commerce.
The conclave will facilitate information dissemination on retail and e-commerce amongst the small and medium enterprises and retailers along with young retail professionals, from leading retailers and e-commerce professionals in this sector.
Some of the key speakers slated to attend the event are, Kishore Biyani - Future Group, Jaitirth Rao (Jerry Rao), Executive Chairman VBHC (Founder and Former CEO, Mphasis), Vineet Gautam, Country Head, Bestseller India – (Vero Moda, Only and Jack & Jones), Niraj Hedaoo, Director, e-commerce, Rediff.com and N Muralidharan, CEO, NSE Infotech Services Ltd (Technology arm of NSE).
With their immense industry knowledge and having experience of having seen the industry grow in the last 20 years, these speakers are expected to give realistic and workable insights on how the retail and e-commerce industry needs to gear itself to face challenges of the 21st century.
