Day 7 of IIM CAT 2013 concludes successfully

We had a total of 6,346 candidates test, including 53 Differently Abled candidates, Prometric said in the statement on Thursday.

The seventh day of CAT (Common Admission Test) 2013 examination concluded successfully, Prometric said on Thursday.

Day 7 of the IIM CAT 2013 has concluded successfully. We had a total of 6,346 candidates test, including 53 Differently Abled (DA) candidates, Prometric said in the statement.

“Prometric is committed to providing all candidates -- regardless of physical ability -- a fair opportunity to be judged on their merits.  Today's delivery of the CAT included a dedicated scheduling of DA candidates. All testing candidates have completed their exams and the day has concluded successfully," Soumitra Roy, General Manager, Prometric India said on Thursday.

Prometric assigns dedicated testing labs across several venues to accommodate all DA candidates.

Depending on the type of support requested, testing assistive devices that DA candidates were able to bring for the CAT included abacus (without calculator), hearing aid, wheel chair, magnifying screen (provided at the test centre) and/or a scribe/reader.
