More than 60 law colleges across India now recognise the Law School Admission Test—India (the LSAT—India™) scores as one of the admissions criteria for their institutes.
On 19 May 2013, Pearson VUE – a division of Pearson – will deliver the LSAT—India from 15 highly secure test centres across the country. In addition to coveted law establishments such as RGSOIPL—The IIT Kharagpur Law School, The Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun, ITM Gurgaon and KLE Bangalore, new and upcoming schools such as The Amity Law School, Gurgaon will accept LSAT—India scores for admissions to their 2013 cohorts.
The test, which is created by the global non-profit Law School Admission Council (LSAC), assesses critical-thinking skills, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills and traits that are needed for a successful career in law.
Dan Bernstine, President, LSAC, said: “The growing acceptance of LSAT—India reaffirms the fact that law schools across the country understand the benefits of reasoning-based tests for candidate selection.”
Fiona Collins, Managing Director, Pearson VUE India, added: “With more than 60 colleges associated with LSAT—India: All You Need is Reason™, students benefit from a truly accessible platform to pursue careers in law. With a successful history, LSAT—India continues to be an important, relevant way for colleges to determine the most suitable law course applicants.”
Candidates can register for the 140-minute test at www.pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia.
