Cox and Kings announces completion of sale of subsidiary HBR’s camping division for £89.2 mn

Cox & Kings acquired the Camping Division as part of its acquisition of Holidaybreak in 2011. Homair Vacances is a major operator in relation to outdoor holidays in France.

Cox & Kings Limited today announced the completion of sale of the Camping Division of its subsidiary Holidaybreak Limited to Homair Vacances for a total consideration £89.2 million following the approval of the deal from the Competition and Markets Authority. The Camping Division provides outdoor family holidays on over 170 third-party owned campsites across 12 European countries. 
Cox & Kings acquired the Camping Division as part of its acquisition of Holidaybreak in 2011. Homair Vacances is a major operator in relation to outdoor holidays in France.
 Peter Kerkar, Director Cox & Kings Ltd said, “The sale of camping is consistent with our strategy of becoming a Leisure & Education travel group and allows us to focus on these businesses that have a global footprint with market leadership positions.”
