SBI board to consider long-term fundraising plan up to $2B for FY22 tomorrow

State-owned, State Bank of India (SBI) has announced that the Executive Committee of the Central Board is scheduled to have a meeting on 28th April 2021 to consider a long-term fundraising plan for the financial year FY22.

In its regulatory filing, SBI said that the board will, "  examine the status and decide on long term fundraising in single/multiple tranches up to $2 Billion under Reg-S/144A, through a public offer and/or private placement of senior unsecured notes in US Dollar or any other convertible currency during FY 2021 - 22."

On Sensex, SBI finished at Rs352.90 per piece up by 2.48%.
