National Fertilizers soars 6% on recording all-time high sales in Q1

The latest performance includes sales of Urea, DAP, MoP, NPK, SSP and Bentonite Sulphur during the quarter.

The state-owned producer of chemical fertilizers company, National Fertilizers on Thursday was among multi-baggers on exchanges after recording an all-time high sales fo 18.79 lakh MT during April - June 2020 (Q1FY21) quarter. On Sensex, the company's stock has surged by over 6% with an intraday high of Rs38.70 per piece before correcting.

In its exchange filing, National Fertilizers said, "With this NFL touched a new high of 18.79 Lakh MT in April-July, 2020 showing a growth of more than 20% than the previous best of 15.64 LMT recorded during the same period last year."

The latest performance includes sales of Urea, DAP, MoP, NPK, SSP and Bentonite Sulphur during the quarter.

In the period, the company posted a sale of 15.87 lakh MT in cire product Urea increasing by 17% than the CPLY.

At around 10.42 am, the company's stock was trading at Rs37.70 per piece up by 3.29% on Sensex.
