BlackBuck signs MoU with Indian Oil Corporation to enhance benefits to trucking community

This MoU envisages tying up the fuel business of the truck vehicles booked on this platform through Indian Oil’s Xtrapower Fleet Card Program to generate value for the fleet operators and transporters.

BlackBuck, an online B2B marketplace for logistics transactions, has signed a MoU with the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) to strategize its business synergy. This MOU envisages tying up the fuel business of the truck vehicles booked on this platform through IndianOil’s Xtrapower Fleet Card Program to generate value for the fleet operators and transporters. This tie up will help both IOCL and BlackBuck to utilize their collective strength for creating value in the transport ecosystem.

Spanning across 220 locations in India, BlackBuck, today, is the largest player in inter-city freight transport. BlackBuck is working actively on developing the entire ecosystem for supply partners and drivers to support them on both professional and the personal front. Right from facilitating ease of business for truck owners/drivers to supporting them in financial growth, helping them take care of their family interests and changing the way freight moves in India. BlackBuck has partnered with IOCL to create a positive impact in all aspects of a truck owner and driver’s life.

More than 50,000 truck owners are empanelled with BlackBuck and they use the BlackBuck mobile application to find orders conveniently at the right prices. BlackBuck drivers will be able to use IOCL retail outlets across the country to take rest and freshen up in transit. With harsh working conditions truck drivers hardly have any secure places to park their truck, rest and eat a hygienic meal. BlackBuck is working with the IOCL in developing truck stops for drivers and providing them with required facilities. This tie up with BlackBuck will also give IOCL customers an opportunity to avail of Blackbuck’s services for increasing their truck utilization.
