Coal India board approves increase in evacuation facility charges

The company's board approved to enhance Evacuation Facility Charges to Rs.60/- per tonne with effect from 1st August 2021.

The board of directors of Coal India has approved a change in rapid loading charges and evacuation facility charges.

In its regulatory filing, the company's board approved Rapid Loading Charges to be subsumed with Evacuation Facility Charges with effect from 1st August 2021.

Further, the company's board approved to enhance Evacuation Facility Charges to Rs.60/- per tonne with effect from 1st August, 2021.

Also, Coal India's subsidiary board be authorised to determine the Evacuation Facility Charges to be charged from the consumers with the provision of an annual review with effect from 1st August, 2021.

On Sensex, Coal India closed at Rs143.85 per piece up 0.4%.
