Tata Power-DDL recognized for its exemplary security infrastructure; bags ‘Best Electronics Security Company- Integrator' Award

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, a pioneering power utility supplying electricity to a populace of over 7 million in North Delhi, has been recognised with the 'Best Electronics Security Company- Integrator’ Award at the 31st IISSM Annual Global Conclave, in recognition of its exemplary security infrastructure and safety mechanism. The awards were announced during a virtual award ceremony.
                  
The company has implemented the Integrated Security Solution System for development of common standards, technology solutions and processes for intelligent networks to provide safe and secure environment to its consumers, employees, internal and external infrastructure, and for efficient power distribution in its network area. The same has been achieved by developing a Centralised Command and Control Centre of Integrated Security. This provides real-time access and remote monitoring across all the company’s premises and is particularly useful as it enables detection of unsafe situations and intrusion detection across unmanned grids and other sites.

In simpler terms, ISS System is a type of multi-layered system that uses different components and threads into one. It encompasses of access control security, perimeter control security, video surveillance security using the integration at single-hand threading. These security systems also provide remote access to ensure convenience and safety. With the Integrated security system in place, the company is taking proactive measures like round-the-clock surveillance through patrolling cameras that can be positioned at every location.
