NBCC stock spurts on bagging Rs968cr contract

The company has secured the work order of “Construction of 2000 Social Housing” at Hulhumale, Maldives on an EPC basis.

Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd gained over 2% in the late morning trade after the company has bagged an Rs968cr contract.

The company has secured the work order of “Construction of 2000 Social Housing” at Hulhumale, Maldives on EPC basis. The total cost of the project is USD 130 Million (Rs968.50cr approx.), as per the regulatory filing.

The stock is currently trading at Rs47.50 up by Rs1.2 or 2.59% from its previous closing of Rs46.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs48 and has touched a high and low of Rs48.55 and Rs47.30 respectively.
