KPR Mill surges 7%, board to consider buyback

KPR Mill Ltd (KPR) surged 7% after the company announced its plan to consider the buyback. The company has called for a board meeting to take up the buyback.

"A meeting of the board of directors is scheduled to be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, to consider the proposal for buy-back of the fully paid-up equity shares of the company," KPR said in its filing.

KPR Mill Ltd is currently trading at Rs721.9, up by Rs46.7 or 6.92% from its previous closing of Rs675.2 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs698.4 and has touched a high of Rs730. The stock is currently trading below its 200-DMA.
