Accelya Solutions appoints Shrimanikandan Ananthavaidhyanathan as Managing Director

Mani will take charge on July 1, 2021, replacing Neela Bhattacherjee, the current Managing Director who will retire w.e.f June 30, 2021.

Accelya Solutions Limited has appointed Shrimanikandan Ananthavaidhyanathan as Managing Director after the Board of Directors passed a resolution on June 22, 2021, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Ananthavaidhyanathan has been appointed as an Additional Director designated as the Managing Director of the Company with effect from July 1, 2021, for a period of 5 years i.e. up to June 30, 2026, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

“Mani is not related to any Director of the Company. Further, we wish to confirm that Mr. Mani is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other such authority,” company said in a filing on Tuesday.

Mr. Mani will replace Neela Bhattacherjee, the current Managing Director who will retire w.e.f June 30, 2021.

Briefing about the profile of the new appointee, company said, “Mr. Mani is a seasoned airline technology leader with more than 2 decades of technology industry experience in airline application development, management and consultancy. Mr. Mani worked with organizations like Tata Consultancy Services and Sabre to provide technology solutions to global airlines. He also worked with Jet Airways India Ltd as the Chief Information Officer with focus on technology modernisation. Mr. Mani’s areas of interest include enterprise architecture, machine learning, robotics and digital transformation. Mr. Mani received Masters degree in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University.”

At around 11.02 am, Accelya Solutions India Ltd was trading at Rs1,216.35 per piece down by Rs8.7 or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs1,225.05 per piece on the BSE.
