Ashok Leyland incorporates WOS Vishwa Buses and Coaches; stock ends lower

The company will be undertaking the business of bus body and coaches building.

Ashok Leyland Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) Vishwa Buses and Coaches Limited (VBCL) on November 19, 2020. VBCL is 100% subsidiary of the company.

“VBCL is incorporated on November 19, 2020 and is yet to commence operations. The company will be undertaking the business of Bus body and coaches building. It subscribed 6cr equity shares of Rs10/- each for cash at par,” company said in a regulatory filing on Friday.

Ashok Leyland Ltd ended at Rs90.80 per piece down by Rs3.95 or 4.17% from its previous closing of Rs94.75 per piece on the BSE. 
The scrip opened at Rs95.05 and touched a high and low of Rs96 and Rs88.65 respectively.
