The S&P BSE Sensex, meanwhile, gained 2.2%.
In the past year, the stock had a similar or greater gain once at the close. Shares are at a 0.1% premium to the analysts' consensus target price. The stock traded at an average 15% premium over the past year.
The stock has advanced 11% in the past 52 weeks as compared to the 7.9% gain in the Sensex.
