Shares of BGR Energy
surged 4% on the BSE as the company has secured an order from the Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation.
The company has secured an order from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited (TANTRANSCO) for the fabrication, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning, and handing over of 110/33-11kV GIS Substation at Velachery Main Road and 110/11kV GIS substation in Chennai South Region under a total turnkey contract, as per a BSE filing.
The total contract value is Rs49.4cr inclusive of GST and the contract completion period is 10 months, the company added.
BGR Energy Systems Ltd is currently trading at Rs62.30 up by Rs2.6 or 4.36% from its previous closing of Rs59.70 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs60 and has touched a high and low of Rs63.60 and Rs59.35 respectively.
The BSE group "B" stock of face value Rs10 has touched a 52-week high of Rs155.25 on January 12, 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs50.15 on October 11, 2018. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs61.60 and Rs54.80 respectively.
