DCM Shriram dissolves Thailand arm Shriram Bioseed; Stock drops 1%

The liquidation process of the Thailand-based step-down subsidiary started in October 2019.

DCM Shriram Ltd. has completed the liquidation process of its step-down subsidiary company in Thailand namely Shriram Bioseed (Thailand) Limited, by registering with appropriate authorities in Thailand, and accordingly, it is dissolved.

The company on October 24, 2019, informed about the approval of the Board of Directors to liquidate the Thailand-based step-down subsidiary.

At around 11.19 AM, DCM Shriram Ltd was trading at Rs725.30 per piece down Rs7.70 or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs733 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs742.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs748.60 and Rs704.60 respectively during intraday trade on Friday.
