Shares of differential voting rights (DVRs) are in limelight today on hopes of been included in the key benchmark index.
According to reports, the DVR companies are likely to be included in the benchmark index Nifty of NSE from June.
Following which, Tata Motors DVR has surged to a high of Rs. 358, and is now up 2.3 percent at Rs. 352. Future Retail DVR zoomed to a high of Rs. 54.40, and is now up 10.6 percent at Rs. 54.20.
Gujarat NRE Coke DVR hit a high of Rs. 3.32, and is now up 2.8 percent at Rs. 3.28.
On flip-side, Jain Irrigations DVR is now trading at day's low of Rs. 42.10 - down 1.4 percent from its previous close. The stock so far has jumped 4.9 percent to a high of Rs. 44.80.
Meanwhile, the Sensex has dropped 105 points at 28,694.
