Shares of Gayatri Projects
were down ~2% in afternoon trade on Friday even as the company announced winning an order worth Rs493cr.
“This project is in joint venture with Gayatri Projects being the lead partner with 74% stake,” the company added in the exchange filing on Friday afternoon.
The infra company added in the exchange filing that the project is from the government of Maharashtra. The scope of the project pertains to the construction of 6 new lane tunnels of 10.4km length at the Khambataki Ghat Section of NH-4 in the State of Maharashtra.
Gayatri Engineering Company has been undertaking civil and engineering works of various state governments, central governments, public/autonomous bodies/corporations.
Gayatri Projects Ltd is currently trading at Rs165.55 down by Rs4.65 or 2.73% from its previous closing of Rs170.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs167 and has touched a high and low of Rs168.80 and Rs164 respectively. So far 1,58,280 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter.
