Goa Carbon Limited
has informed the Exchange on Thursday that the operations at the Company's Goa Unit located at St. Jose de Areal, Salcete-Goa has resumed.
"The Kiln has been lit up from toady. After preliminary heat up and commencement of feeding of raw material, normal production is likely to resume from tomorrow",as stated by the company in the regulatory filing.
Goa Carbon ended at Rs299.75 per piece higher by Rs2.25 or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs297.50 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs298.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs308.70 and Rs291 respectively during intraday tarde on Thursday.
