Hero Motocorp launches a series of projects for Ecological Welfare -; Healthcare in Rajasthan

Hero MotoCorp Ltd., the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched a series of projects in the state of Rajasthan as part of its long-term commitment to promoting environmental development and prosperity.

Hero MotoCorp has launched an Agroforestry project for the people of Jahota village in Amer Tehsil near Jaipur as part of the 'Hero Green Drive' initiative under the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) platform 'Hero WeCare.' More than 20,000 fruit-bearing trees will be planted and maintained in partnership with 101 farmers in the village as part of this project.

The company also installed drip-irrigation facilities across all planting sites.

Hero MotoCorp has also built a check-dam in the village, which was completed on Sunday. The check-dam, which can hold over 3,000 cubic metres of water, will benefit the villagers by replenishing groundwater levels and providing drinking water for their livestock.

Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also dedicated a Public Health Center (PHC) in Chandwaji village, which has undergone extensive renovation and improvement as part of Hero MotoCorp's CSR initiative, 'Hero We Care.'

Infrastructure improvements include: waterproofing the entire roof of the PHC building, Building a shed outside the PHC for people and vehicles Interlocking tiles in the walkway, wall, door, and window repair Painting, and slogan writing.

At around 9.49 AM, Hero MotoCorp was at Rs2,837.70 down by Rs0.45 or 0.02% from its previous closing of Rs2,838.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs2,838.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs2,838.20 and Rs2,788.45 respectively.
